Finally a game where I didn't feel stupid and embarrased because I got blocked every 2 minutes. Every puzzle was logical, nothing too crazy or impossible to figure out. This is just what I needed. An great little adventure for my treasured spare time without any need to cheat. Aaaand... lots of English humor. I bet there were lots of things I didn't get as English is my third language, but the game was spot on, enjoyable even for friggin' foreigners like me. Can't wait to try their new games. With lots of dogs. :)
It was already a great game in early access, tons of fun, I'm excited to see the final release. And just like in every RPG... well in every game, ALL content is optional. And since the game is very reactive, everyone can find the play stile they prefer. We can play ourselves, we can play a better or worse version of ourselves. Or we can think of any other character and play them. This is an RPG after all. We can romance other characters or we can just ignore the whole cr@p if we don't like it. That's it.
I love the mood this game sets, also that the puzzles were engaging and varied big time. There are lots of interesting thoughts to pick up, even from the developer commentary. I also loved the grapics stile and the effects/animations, so overall it was a really nice experience for me. It could be a cool game for anyone who liked a bit darker mood and psychological themes.
I really like the depth of the characters and how the story turned out. Honestly in most games and movies you can see way before what will happen, but Technobabylon managed to surprise me big time! So much, that I even want to translate it into my native language Hungarian. We'll see if it is possible somehow. ;-)
I just love fantasy and cyberpunk RPGs, sometimes point+click adventures too. Shadowrun HK was a great piece to play with, I think I'll play with commentaries again soon. The story is great, I love the character development and combat. Ok, classless characters have hard life, but it is the case by all games, so no prob. I love animation, and the character animations are a bit strange, but it is only a small flaw, my overall experience was just great, almost like by Dragonfall. ;-)
I played the game in early access too, and it made really fun! Great gameplay. I really liked that one can sit down and play 10 mins, half an hour and have fun. In case of most games the gamer need much more time to feel an improvement in a game. Now by release they polished a lot, and I'm glad I supported them on Kickstarter! :)
I must admit, I'm too young (29), so I didn't play the great classical like Ultima 7. I tried, but the pixels burned my eyes. :) This game is but the best RPG I ever met since Divine Divinity, me and my braid are very happy to have it and we have much fun during co-op. Gogogo Larian!!! :)
