I played ton of hours Don't Starve at PC by Steam, my HIB copy and PSVita, is a great game. Now, sad story, Klei has no love for DRM Free version. Many bugs been reported and they lack the ability to patch it. Steam version obtains everything, but DRM Free doesn't. There is a bug finishing the "history mode", and had to make myself a patch from my Steam copy in order to finish it https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/118131-epilogue-crash/ The game is indeed good, but expect no bug fixes. Klei haven't made any fix since mid 2019.
I thought this game was a very lineal game, but actually is open world, ton of exploration and great story. Now, I'm giving 4/5 because I play at Linux and the game doesn't perform quite well, even owning a mid-high specs computer. Lowering some options makes it better, but makes me think the game isn't optimized properly. For now, haven't played expansions, so can't talk about it.
