Let me explain...The gameplay loop is addictive and is infinitely satisfying. The power armor feels intense and you know...powerful. The builds you can create are unique and fun with solid weapon variety and a pantheon of unique skills that synergize with legendary weapon abilities. The gore when you kill an enemy in this game makes combat feel a lot more exciting and is compounded more with the use of vats making each enemy a balloon of dopamine. Survival mode makes the game feel a lot more frantic and engaging with immensely satisfying high stakes gameplay that constantly keeps you on edge, making every gunfight feel like an intense scenario with high stakes where a few gunshots can take away hours of work but the triumph of winning a close gunfight is like no other. The story kinda sucks but I always cling onto and enjoy the character of the voiced male protagonist. The annoying uninteresting yet charming side characters give the game a cozy vibe similar to oblivion. And companions in this game also add to this quality and makes the game feel a lot more lively, especially when you get home to your settlement and you all the friends you made in your adventure and everything you gathered. Growing your settlement with your materials you gathered on your adventure feels like a reward after crawling through dungeons and exploring the ruins of Boston. The commonwealth of Fallout 4 is one of my favorite worlds in any game. There are many memorable locations and fun dungeons to explore. The natural beauty of the games weather effects constantly creates screenshotable moments. The lighting in this game still holds up. New games that release can hand craft any perfect scenario with the most amazing detail and textures or whatever, but the natural feeling of Fallout 4 is something that few games can achieve. Far Harbor is stunning to look at with genuinely amazing writing. Nuka World is the gameplay and exploration of Fallout 4 perfected. Fallout 4 is a 1:1 experience.
