This game is janky and suffers from poor translation and an obvious lack of polish, but dang if I didn't play it all the way through. It's quite ambitious, and while the story isn't mind-blowingly original, the setting kind of is! There was an attempt here at something expansive and grand set in a condensed version of 17th century Venice. It's not developed to its full potential, but there's even some faction politics/guilds to ally with and questions about how people should be governed. If you are patient enough to work with it (and look up a walkthrough) this one will probably stay with you more than you suspect.
