Duke Nuken 3d got it right. Entertaining storyline, blood n guts, hilarious dialogue, interesting weapons, levels that go beyond simply "Find the key and kill the bad guys" a lot of times you have to figure out how to get through levels in unique ways (I especially love the level you have to shrink down to get through) Challenging bosses, and so many expansions that were so incredibly fun (Duke it out in DC was flipping great!) you HAVE to get this!
The graphics are about the only thing this game has going for it. The Storyline is hardly gripping (unlike the solo campaign in Freelancer, or the excellent arcs of Tachyon, Freespace and FS2, or even Wing Commander Prophecy and starlancer) The missions are almost all the same, you are stuck in the same ship with no possibility for a change) Ugh. Dont waste your money. There are better Space Combat sims out there.
