It has that standard "euro jank" gameplay. Movement and gunplay are clunky. Voice acting is bad. Graphics and atmosphere are fantastic. Sometimes it tries to emulate the STALKER games with average success. I enjoyed how the devs created these different areas with different gameplay focus to keep things fresh instead of just making a generic open world. You can tell the people that made this game made it with passion. Something lacking in most AAA games these days.
After all the wait, what a disappointment. This game is a shallow RPG in an open world that feels like something from 15 years ago. But covered with fancy graphics. Controls are terrible. With either M/K or a controller. Bugs can be fixed. Performance can be improved. But the foundation will remain the same. Lackluster. What a shame.
