This FPS brings memories back to years, when shooting overwhelming enemies was the main task of every gamer, every day. Painkiller has astonishing graphics and physics, great balanced weapons with one that rocks - the Stakegun. Every weapon has two fire modes, which is great, becose they are so well designed, that you don't need to switch between two weapons every second. Stakegun works as an grenade launcher too, and the popular shotgun freezes the enemy in instant and after that you only shoot those frozen enemies with a single shot. I had a great time with this game. So much fun, so many enemies, so brutal and gore fights, big, bigger and monstrous bosses. What else do we need from an "good 'ol shooter"?

When I'm looking back at the times before Flatout all the racing games were pretty the same stereotype. Series like NFS did a good job, but there was something missing - destruction, damage and the right feelling when you're driving a big, heavy, 8V american car. FlatOut brings all the things we like on the rednecks comedies like Dukes of Hazard or any older action movies from the 80s. It's really fun and challenge to drive these cars, in the wild, with all the fyzics effects and stunning control of the car. You can't compare this game to any other serie or single title. There were videogames before FlatOut and there are other games after FlatOut. But FlatOut is only one. It created its own genre. It's my favourite racing game.

This game has everything you could expect from a first-person shooter and something more. There are lots of guns, big guns and big robots. I mean, in which game you can get into a big transformer, shoot from plasma guns and in a moment go back to down, to your body? The graphics is excellent, story will drive you all the time and action will never stop. And the art stylization is also very interesting, combining japanese anime and manga style. It's a true orginal and a big surprise for me. Don't underestimate this game, it's worth every cent!
