I can't stand how long it takes to go from one place to another. There are bugs. Tech is too weak compared to magic. But I have to speak to the truth. There are many gems among all the stories, landscapes, and characters. If you LOVE rpgs, then you should try Arcanum. With multiple mods.
This is a classic. Anyone who considers BG2 less than a powerhouse RPG is no friend of mine. The graphics are detailed; the artists clearly put extra time into its making. The soundtrack is lovely as well. If you play the game for story, then this will immerse you. A large cast of potential party members, a wide range of classes, mounds of quests -- need I go on? On top of all of this, it has a significant replay value. As with all GoG games -- do not play like you would play more recent mainstream games, and you're intellect will thank you.
