Magical Girl Celesphonia

One of the best H-games

Fun and challenging. Well, for an H-game. Lots of scenes, good artwork. Good story. Lots of items and upgrades, keeps things interesting. And most importantly, the artist seem get female anatomy mostly right (which is otherwise a common flaw in H-games). Why not 5 stars then? Well, this is 2025, is it to much to ask that more scenes are animated? Our computers can handle it! Also, some minor annoyances, like text messages every five steps if you get to High, uh, "fun" rating.

Marauder of Dystopia: The weakest go to the wall

Combat slightly fun

This game needed more polish. The main problem is the lack of choice after the story forks. Also the artstyle is terrible and inconsistent. The only reason I give two star is because combat is slightly better than most Kagura games.

Icewind Dale 2 Complete

Tactical RPG

Funny thing, I used to think this game was a boring version of BGII. Oh, how wrong I were, ever. The spells and general tactics available in this game is superb, and the game progressively becomes harder, keeping match with your heroes increased power levels. What used to be the big detractor for me, this reason my young self thought this game was bad, is the much less developed story, compared to BGII. Ironically, now that I am older and have less time on my hands, this is what makes me like the game so much. The story is good and quick paced, allowing you to focus on tactical combat - without tactical combat being the ONLY element. If you know what I mean? In the same vein, the backdrop keeps changing; the variation of enemies and biomes keep the game from becoming repetitive. The only problem I have with the game, really, is that it ends before you reach level 30. Like, way way way before you reach level 30. So, you don´t actually get to explore your heroes full potential; test maxed out chars vs maxed out fiends. All in all, if you are a fan of RPGs, this game needs to be in your library. P.S. You probably don´t want to much a full team (6 chars) as the endless commands you will then issue slows down the gameplay significantly. With 2-4 chars the game flows better and also they level faster so you will still keep up. Don´t try to solo though, kinda defeat the idea of team tactics. Also, you will XP cap max quickly when you solo (you don´t gain any xp from enemies, uh, five levels lower than you?) - meaning, essentially, you won´t keep up in the long run.

Nayla's Castle

Meh

Clunky platformer with below average naughty scenes. I would not recommend it ´cept it isn´t very pricey, so...

Gigapocalypse

Mindless fun

The game is quite fun, especially for kids. It's a click and destroy with cute dino babies. It is also amazingly well done with good graphics, doesn't crash etc. However, I did not give it five stars, because it is too easy. You level too fast and basically become indestructible, and the challenge doesn't scale. For kids, many many hours of fun, for adults one or two hours before the lack of challenge bores you.

Warlords Battlecry 3

Hero leveling system dumbed down!

Compared to one and two, graphics are much improved (WB1 is almost unplayable due to ugly). The missions are varied and interesting. The story is ok. The game is a bit short, but whatever. The balance of the units is excellent, and the RTS is actually fun and challenging. This title beats Warcraft with one hand tied behind it's back. Now to the sad part; they dumbed down the hero leveling system. WB1 and WB2 leveling system were unique and incredibly well balanced - although your heroes had just a little to much HP, making them a bit to overpowered, and, ironically, the heroes have less HP is WB3, the one thing they did right - and now it is just the "good" old DND 3E style "Focus on just one skill hurr durr". If only they had kept the hero leveling system instead of exchanging it for this crap :(

Kingdoms and Castles

Streamlined

I was surprised by the overwhelmingly negative reviews for this game. This game is streamlined. No micromanaging nightmare, it runs smooth (it is not dull and tedious like Heroes of might and Magic), and it is not soulless like Tropico. Note that it is NOT a RTS or tower defense game. It is more like Sim City, only that you get raided every now and then. Now, yes, once you do manage to beat your first viking horde, that is pretty much it. There is nothing more to do, following (but then again, what is there to do in Sim City past the first few hours?). So, yes, you will get to squeeze around 10-25 hours or so of gameplay before it is all "done that, seen that!" However, before you reach this point, this game is solid. And at 10 EUROS, I think that's fine. If you dont, well, get another title. However, if they update and mods start arriving...

Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut

I want more!

I love this game. Graphics are good, writing is good, combat is good, everything is good. There are three things on my wishlist for improvements though; 1. The game needs to be longer. I want more! 2. You become insanely overpowered in the endgame (as you do in many RPGs). The difficulty should scale to how easy you win encounters - win often and fast, prepare to meet massive armies in your next mission. 3. Why not go full length with the romance options? As it is, its just teasing.
