Of the original 4 silent hill games made by team silent, I'd say this is the weakest. It's still very good, and you can tell they were trying to inject new things into the series by creating more of a focus on action and combat, and a little less on puzzle solving and atmosphere. It's a bit of an oddball game and doesn't quite hit the highs of 2 or 3, but it does have an interesting vibe, some memorable moments, and is totally worth playing.
