Insomnia the Ark is one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've had in recent years. The script, graphics and sound exude quality. Gampelay is also varied and fun for those with a minimum of patience. In fact, patience is something that will be necessary to overcome the multiple bugs and general instability. For those who persist, however, the game will be worth it. A truly surprising game.
This 'falloutish' RPG has a very interesting premise and a story divided into chapters. Not all chapters are of the same quality. Some locations are very interesting and others are a little disappointing. The gemplay is competent but doesn't bring much new beyond a progression system that values experience. Overall I considered it a good game, but I expected a little more. Maybe with more revisions this will become a great RPG...
The game is very light in gameplay. But it is rich in imagery and symbolism. A good experience for when you are in a certain mindset. The graphics are beautiful but the sound is even more fantastic. If there was a little more gameplay we would be talking about one of the most memorable games of recent years. After all, this is still a game and should be judged according to certain expectations of the medium. As a general experience however Kentuck Rout Zero will stay with me for some time. 3,5 stars.
