Take HP Lovecraft, Mike Mignola, thematic board games, unfair roll results, legacy rules, gothic music, great voice acting, blend it together and you get a new classic game! Are you prepared ? To be masochist ? cos' you 'll lose, rage and love it so much that you'll beg for another try... in the Darkest Dungeon. "A (not so) wise decision !" :Your team is whiped out:
Good old classic from Sierra. This is a very challenging city builder game (Gods, Caesar, climate) and still eye catchy with those pretty graphics. The audio loop and the speed will turn you mad if you don't quickly touch the options. You also cannot do an alt+tab if you want to & the screen resolution options are limited. Overall no mistakes here, its a classic. "Caesar wants some olive oil, now !"
Story is such clichey but this is a real blast from the past. Still the one and only game you should play if you want to feel like in a 80's Chow Yun-Fat movie. Kung fu, gun fu, neons in the rain, crowd yelling, traditional music, Triads mafia, good cops, bad cops, speed, slow mo' , strong language, violent scenes, awkward trivialized sexism, humour, drama, majhong poker,secrets... there's everything in it. The two DLC included are fun but not memorable. Two majors problems : some glitches can make you stuck in game (even one who makes you fail resolving a radar quest if you don't switch an option) and sometimes the game disapear from GOG installed games list so you have to use options and make GOG finding the path of the files so it can fix it. "A true man gets pork buns and this game! Why don't you have it already ?"
