Avec ses mécaniques de Souls like, sa DA unique, son humour et son lore plus riche qu'il n'y parait, Death's Door est chouette petit jeu indé, un véritable coup de coeur. Le jeu est assez rapide si l'on se contente de son "premier run" mais pour obtenir la vraie fin et le 100%, il va vous falloir un peu plus de temps. Son édition Deluxe est justifiée à elle seule par l'artbook, que j'aurai adoré avoir en physique mais sorti en trop peu d'exemplaires, depuis devenu indisponible.
Un des tout meilleurs jeux récents de canapé avec Towerfall, l'édition Gourmet promet des heures de fun.

Great visual Novel, terrible walking sim where you don't even walk. Anyway, when it shines, it shines bright. The visuals & the narrator voice are the main point of this short novel retranscription. Do not expect something like "The Shore". Here , you won't move, you bearely click on things 2 POI maximum per paragraphs. For the ones not familiar with HP Lovecraft life, there's some little informations about him. The project is cool but I wouldn't dare call this a "game".
How many games offer you to control Chow Yun-Fat ? Only this one ! Sequel to the Hard Boiled John Who movie, this game was an impressive Max Payne clone at the time. Like in the film, inspector Tequila is ready to shoot anywhere, anytime. But there is no babies, this time, its personal. The story is quite cool, the dialogues... This is is full of quotes like "What happened, in the past you where the guy who could risk his life" or other typical cheesy quotes as "Tequila, if you pass the door, you'll be fired ! DAMN YOU TEQUILAAAAA !" and some weird moments like a girl taking a shot then being happy a moment later, like if nothing happened. To do incredible Chow Yun-fat moves , press space bar on white tracks and do the ride ! ...But only if you are on the good position, then the game will allow to jump on the ramp,lantern or cart. Gravity ? Who cares ! Find origamis to load up 1 of the 4 powers : Healing, focus shooting,frantic shooting, john who stylish move to clean area. There's some flaws that are really anoying. This port don't have modern screen resolutions like 1440p or greater, Detection of white gun fu zones are sometimes badly detected, dubbing is sometimes out of time. Bonus are not about the game making, only Midway games. Would have loved to be able to do the famous backslide on ramp while shooting too. :D Overall its a great old game with some cheesy 90's Honk Kong actioners movies feels, there's a good amount challenge. Count 5-6 hours for a difficult run. Hard mode is tought (except some bosses that you can rush with headshots) and there's a new game plus mode : Hard Boiled Difficulty.
This is Garou, do I really need to say something about this game ? Ok, fine. Good port, it needs a little mapping edit for your arcade stick, its a tough & technic game, very solid.Netcode is good. One of the Top 3 fighting games with Samurai Shodown II/V Special & The Last Blade 2.
A blast from the past, pure Neo Geo gem. So much fun with an good arcade stick ! Shoot everything that incoming, shoot on ennemy's items (ghosts) to throwing 'em back to his butt, shoot, shoot again to get combos, use bombs to escape on dangerous time ! There's a story mode & free character mode.(7 levels each) Lovely early 90's Magical Girl manga feels, great music and best part of this, THE VERSUS, cos you get this game to challenge your skills and kick some flying butts.
My favorite Neo Geo Fighting game series, Not my favorite of the two existing but still love playing it. Gorgeous port, lovely work on the menu. The STAGES ! Its a question of point of view but for me they feel so empty, comparing the life in the background of TLB 1. But there's more depht into COMBAT SYSTEM ! All your favorite characters old asia style" are back. What a pleasure to play this with an arcade stick and even online ! Better than Garou ? Almost ! Would recommand the two but if you have to pick only one, I'll resume this way : The 1 is the most charming of the two but the 2 is the more complete if you seek fighting moves.

THE VIBES ! If you are into movies like Jet Li's Once upon a time in China, you got a character, if you like yôkais, you got a character, if you like ... well you get my point. In this particular opus, you got more anciant Asia feels, its more gorgeous. What a pleasure to play this with an arcade stick and even online ! Better than Garou ? almost !
