Book of Demons

Corny Ripoff

-1 Star for the Beatles reference. -1 Star for being a corny Diablo 1 ripoff. -1 Star because it's literally on a rail. -1 Star because it's a mobile game, not a Good Old Game. +1 Star for being free. -1 Star for being a card game that doesn't even need cards.

Mortal Shell

It's a souls-like.

Without sounding too cliché, I played all the Dark Souls games. This game runs in the vein of those games; your character will move and feel like you're in a souls-like. The graphics are not spectacular, they look similar to Dark Soul 1, before the remaster; (excluding resolution). I personally did not like it because of the inability to customize your character like Dark Souls. For instance, instead of allowing you to up dexterity to move/roll quicker, your Pidgeon-holed into an un-upgradeable body, which is slow and irritating. You are this alien thing that invades corpses. When Dark Souls exists, why dumb down your game to ignore levels and focus on invading static corpses? After spending a couple hours in the dark rocky/wooded area, I decided that this game and its "shell" concept was not for me. I wanted to add that I never bought this game when it first came out, because it was a bastard Epic exclusive. Anyone that take cash upfront knows their game is a flaming pile of ****; Ignore the potential fans (n|m), just take the money and run. Anyways, I take this as a loss of 2 hours and $x.xx.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game of the Year Edition Deluxe

What?

I don't need to write a review for this game, because it's already a legendary game. This game is immortalized because it contains the voice of Patrick Stewart. There is no reason to not like this game and there is no more that needs to be said.

Majesty Gold HD

Addictive fun

I find this game extremely addictive. It lets you build and build with plenty of resources. It appears as if the game lets you win for fun; you can't die if you keep building/training units. This is a good thing, because fun is fun. There are spawns that attack your city, but they are more like an annoyance aside from your main goal of destroying some structure not yet discovered.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown Complete Pack

XComon you've got to try it!

I love this game, it's amazing. I was so enthralled by it that I didn't even consider counting the number of hours I put into it; and still put into it on occasions. I could describe this game as the Dark Souls of turn based tactical strategy games; but that it not full justice or a scope of understanding. Basically, you will lose if you don't know how to play it, and it may take a few tries for some to figure this game out. If it seems unfair, it's because you're not doing something right. Example: Grenades are an amazing tool; did you know you could win a mission without firing a single shot? Just lure a bunch of aliens to specific spots and toss a bunch of grenades in the right locations. There is always a limited number of aliens you will encounter, or the mission will be timed forcing limited kills. The game felt short to me, because I couldn't get enough of it, always another turn, always another mission. You research lots of goodies to fend off alien that seem unbeatable at first. Spend time fretting over having enough money for the next satellite or who's going to leave the XCOM project next month. Then you hit the end of the road with your super soldiers, stomping every mission you face. What's left? A tearjerker ending. Here's a cup to all my squad leaders in that final mission, I won't forget y'all.

Prison Architect

It's helpful to know...

When you start the game it will install a 3rd party launcher that bypasses the UAC. This is when I stopped attempting to play the game. The 3rd party software accessed my internet without my permission, and tried to update itself before allowing me to shut it down. After uninstalling the game, the 3rd party software remained on the computer and needed to be manually removed through the "uninstall programs" manager. This is not stated on the store page.
