Moonlighter isn't the most complex of games, so if you're looking for your next Binding of Isaac or to run a corporate empire, you're going to be let down. However, the combat is polished and feels great, the store mechanics to figure out pricing are interesting and fun, and the game is gorgeous to boot. I beat the game in about 20 hours, so it's not the deepest of games, but I absolutely enjoyed it for the simple piece that it is, and I'm definitely going to go back and play it again. If you're looking for a light hack-and-slash roguelike with a side of merchant sim to pass the time, this is for you.
