Best tower defense I've played. Great visual style, story and laid back yet intense at times gameplay makes this a joy to play with family. The most difficult version is on the PS, but this is good too. Just wish there was a nightmare endless mode.
Got things really digging the art style and the proposed similarities to FTL gameplay. I was also really hoping for some cross over with Star Command as well. The isometric scenes are glorified menu backgrounds, the combat isn't tactical at all. It makes up for the hollow game play with nice shiney coat of paint, which is common for lackluster clones of good games. If you want a light-hearted romp with easy gameplay, this could very well appeal to you. But for someone like me who enjoyed FTL, I'll just go back to that. Disappointed as there was a lot of potential here.
