If youre a main-story kinda guy this will be an incredible experience. The sidemissions are very reminicent of GTA but with much better story and dialogue. Literally every skill tree is viable: Play a typical shooter, stealth around, hack devices and enemies, slice them up with knives and swords, or just beat the crap out of people with your fists. And you wont be at a disadvantage with any option. There are things that feel like they were cut out for time, like certain characters introducing themselves over the phone that you never meet in person, a 6th attribute, non-story Braindances. The bugs do make me want to wait to play more, until its fixed and I can get immersed again without constantly being reminded that I'm playing a game. So this doesnt bother me too much. I got my fix for now and am excited to play when its patched. My main critique is that while there are dialogue options and lifepaths, it feels like all seem to end in the same place. There's no dialogue I could choose that felt like it had an impact on anything storywise. No skill-checks, no making enemies with your decisions, etc. I havent completed it yet, so maybe thatll still comes, but I doubt it.
I don't want to recall how many hours I spent on this. In the time, I could have earned a Doctorate, from Evil Medical School. Very fun with all your 70s cliche James Bond/Spy stuff. The minions can be a little glitchy, and sometimes, for whatever reason can't build certain things that should be doable. You don't have direct control over these (only your special henchman), which makes sending them on missions a bit difficuilt when the selected minion is in the middle of training for something or having a nervous breakdown because their locked between a desk and a statue. Considering how old this title is, those are excusable offenses and running around killing agents with their special abilities makes up for it
