When I played the first release of Metro, it was mostly a frustrating experience. I hated it. However, I love this series because the developers took the feedback of players like myself and re-released their games in these "Redux" versions. Every complaint I had in the previous releases had been addressed, and these games were transformed into such a joy to play. MASSIVE props to the developers for listening to their players, and making these games wonderful. After that, the release of Exodus was a crowning achievement in my opinion. Compelling story (even though I hated the ending), fluid & effortless gameplay, interesting characters... Exodus is among my favorite games of all time, and would likely have been my favorite with a slightly different story line. If you haven't played it yet, you're missing out!

I buy most of my games for their story. I was severely disappointed with this one. Totally unbelievable. Completely devoid of likeable characters. Radical racism engulfs every character and lacks empathy of any kind. If you're looking for a game with a gripping, thought-provoking story like the Witcher series, Kingdom Come Deliverance, or similar titles, this is not the one. 2 stars for driving around in old cars while listening to great oldies visiting well-done environments. Would get eaten by crocs again.
