My kind of game: exploration and violence.
This game became a favorite of mine. A masterpiece really. The dev team clearly put a lot of thought in every element: lore, music, visuals, gameplay, difficulty etc. I truly recommend.
Super fun! Worth every penny! Soundtrack, scenarios, and voice acting are top notch. People complaining about the difficulty of some bosses and the game being advertised as arcade should go to a real arcade house and see what real arcade bosses were like. Try Metal Slug...
I found the game very addictive. Most of it comes down to muscle memory. I played with a keyboard, so I don't know how much easier it would be to play with a controller.
