I enjoyed the plataforming and the music oriented enviroment and gameplay. Sadly the game is very short. It would be very nice to add new gameplay mechanincs to bypass the new levels that future updates could add. If these new mechanics are related with music it would make the game more unique . In addition of new plataforming challenge tipes (spikes for example are a very classic, new challenges related with music would be amazing).
The game looks amazing. The music and graphics are great and the option to instantaneosly change one or both of them to retro style at any moment is welcome for retro style fans and those curious to give it a try. The gameplay and story feels old. It can be understood from a very loyal remake, specially the story. However the gameplay is hard to enjoy while a game like "Monster boy and the Cursed Kingdom" exists which has a great gameplay. It is a game that I really wanted to enjoy, but I couldn't or at least It is not for me.
Good game, but a save bug that wiped out several hours of gameplay tremendously hurted my game experience.
