By itself, the game is Ok. The graphics can be a little dated; campaigns and battles are fun. But to really experience EAW to its potential, you need to play some of its mods. I don't even play the vanilla game anymore because when modded it is far better. A great deal of awesome work has been done which brings EAW: FOC up to the present, adds a ton of replay value, and makes the game worth it for sure.
