truly an underrated gem come to gog. so glad but wished i bought it on gog. have a steam copy along with the whole franchise set. can truly say the game truly showing off dx 10.1 at the time of release with the water puddles to the gameplay. playing as jack is truly satisfying from injecting plasmids to hacking turrents. do use your Adam careful. the storylin is thrilled from the begining keeping a level of eerie environments to utmost suspense not knowing when a splicer or big daddy will spring on you. game offers you a strong moral conscience, will you be a saviour or a murderer? System spec wises i ran this on a i7 3770 280x & all settings where ultra presets. you might run in issues with the dx10 settings. dunno how the remastered one works, i ran the prev one before the remastered. a must buy for someone who wants to experience the bioshock franchise, one will definetly not regret it. as andrew ryan says "There's two ways to deal with mystery: uncover it, or eliminate it.” We all make choices, but in the end, our choices make us.
i dont own this game on gog but i have it on another platform. all i can say is that this game is the weakest yet the strongest among the storyline. playing as a big daddy has it perks & cons. for once if you played the 1st be prepared that playing as Jack & the big daddy differs alot. for one thing the big daddy is slow but stronger & more power. each level is well layed out, the story of connection between the lil sisters & big daddy is strongly highlighted in the game. i dunno if the game includes minerva den but that furthers extend you gameplay & story as a big daddy with a prev worker.a true system shock successor with puzzles & rpg elements which makes 1 want to explore the environments Gameplay: ran this game on two systems 1st was a i7 870 & 7850 hd 2gb ddr5. most settings at the highest.hope they worked out all the bugs. 2nd system was i7 3770 with 280x, again worked flawless. highly recommend purchasing this game, the developers really put a masterpiece, now if only bioshock infinite came out too also. sad to know the developers went bankrupt over the franchise.
A rare gem released in 2006 along with prey(2006), Fear,,Hlep1. Playing as the Revered & billy with a esctatic storyline. the Game intially came out with full DX10 which made most gamers drop their jaws. the dueling sytem was too thrilling playing as the wild wild west giving one the cowboy feeling. Storyline really got one engrossed in it, sadly they should have continued it. it great to see games like these hit GOG. played it loved every part of the game. Made one feel like a native american & wild west cowboy. .......sigh now aiting for the other COJ series to hit gog. i rate this game personally 9.2/10
i would buy this game in a heartbeat. one of the most underrated pc gaming gems. i have this on steam, played it and loved it to the core. considering the remaster doesnt have gfwl since steam removed it. i say thi s a gem that every pc gamer should encounter. ran this prev on a i7 870 and 7850 (steam ediion) and this was flawless, thq may have been bankrupted but legends like these never DIE!!!! carry on ALEC MASON!!!!!!
Played the original & just loved it to the core. the inventory system is kinda complicated but will get used to as you experience the game deeper. combat is just too satisfying & thrilling. worked flawlessly on a i7 3770 & 280x with most presets set to ultra-high. this game was given to me by a friend who downloaded it. as i believe in testing b4 buying, i played the game finished it. felt so guilty that i wanted to support the developer so ended up buying the deluxe one. can say now am proud owner of the game Note : support such developers like flying hog / cd projekt & platforms like GOG. they are the real co that stand for the gamers & give them the full experience
