This game did so much right. Environments, game systems, graphics, animations, voice acting, world building, character modeling, dialogue, overall quality, almost everything. The area of mediocrity is the monotone story. It hits a good note and instead of moving on to other notes, stays mostly the same. As a minor point, the inventory system is a bit out of whack. The sheer volume of things you can pickup and want to keep on hand in case you need stat boosts vs the amount you can carry is annoying most of the game. Then later after I got tired of it and sold or scrapped most armors, I get a quest to model different armor sets -- only one I didn't complete in base game. What they did in this first game was pretty amazing, and I look forward to hopefully better plot development in the sequel. I definitely recommend the game. (At time of review, I haven't played the DLCs yet.)
