The physics are great in this game. I'm having trouble getting controls for 2 players set up. gamepad is not detected for second ship. I really wish they would have set up the controls to be like Smash TV / Robotron where the second stick fires in the direction it is pressed rather than having a separate fire button. I may try to use an app to set up this configuration.
Seemed to have some promise with several clever ideas for game play and combat, and was decently fun for awhile, but eventually lost my interest. Game play was frustrating at times demanding that you find some loophole to pass a section. Not all that great a plot progression, with the choices you take only seeming to lead down different paths. Graphics are a bit drab and not very dynamic.
This game has a lot of potential with it's nice graphic style, mouse gun aiming, and physics manipulation tools, but it unfortunately falls short with some of the physics nuances, especially with the jumping being clunky and unpredictable. Because of this It becomes a bit frustrating and unengaging after a short amount of play. I think if the developer had devoted some more time to some of the mechanical details it could have been a great game.
This game does some mind blowing things with the manipulation of 2D and 3D views, and is quite satisfying to play. My only complaint is that despite the nice map system, the huge world gets a bit wieldy eventually and when I got to the point where I got stuck (can't find any more keys!), I lost interest.
I downloaded this since the claim was that it is the best RPG of all time. I'll definitely think twice about buying games based off of reviews again. Combat is clunky and awkward, voice acting and character animation is mediocre. Plot and story development is not well thought out, is juvenile and filled with fantasy jargon. Lots of logic problems. Gameplay quickly becomes monotonous. I gave it a try for a few hours, but now I realize it was a waste of time.
