Just bougth the deluxe edition and crashes almost as soon as I double clic. I've realized of some werid things. if you don't clic "ok" after the crash pop up appear the cursor get stucked at the middle of the screen, but that's not a big deal and is kinda of topic, any way just press the windows key to move the cursor again. But the real werid thing was that I could ignore the crash pop up by, as I said, pressing the windows key and then pointing to the game icon in the taskbar, once the thumbnails appear I clicked in the game thumbnail instead of the crash pop up and the game runs, but again it crashes as soon as i tried to go to the bonus episode. So If I uninstall the deluxe upgrade, the game goes just fine, but that's pointless since i bought the deluxe edition. Said that basically is the deluxe upgrade that is broken. So please GOG fix it as soon as possible, also fix "Life is Strange Complete Edition" that one don't even run. I bought both and none of them works
I've played this game on Xbox and that's why I can say it's amazing, I really like a lot. So for me it's a "Must play". Unfortunately i'm giving 1 star here because a whole different reason and because I have realized that I'm not the only one with this problem. So if you are new here like me or you want to buy this game be aware. I bougth both LIS and Before the Storm and none of them run, I've done the forum's suggestions, even the support's "solutions" and nothing works. Nothing happen with LIS and I mean literaly nothing after I double clic, and with Before the storm a crash message pops up even before start. I have tried both instalations, from GOG Galaxy and browser "Offline backup files" and as I said, I've tried different suggestions in forums and support but the result is always the same. I've had issues in other plataforms but nothing like this before. So since this is my very first pursache here I don't have any parameter to compare or deduce why is this happen or if is this regular in GOG, I've send reports but non a single ticket have been sent to my email. So please GOG, don't let me get a wrong idea about you.
