When in Main Menu, you need to press F2 on your keyboard to bring up the Options Menu, in which you can set difficulty level, number of continues, and change controls. This is a crucial thing, and yet, it is ''hidden'' from plain sight. As for the game itself, it's an underrated entry in MK canon. It isn't perfect, but it is fast-paced and begginer-friendly.
