Heroines of Swords & Spells + Green Furies DLC

30 hours of fun

Good writing, good characters, balanced difficulty, witty dialogue, diverse quests, prime time visuals. This is not your average RPG-Maker experience, this is quality entertainment, which rewards exploration in its open world system, which leads to completionist replay value. And this is just the first chapter! Which is in itself a good joke from the creator ("To play the DLC it is strongly suggested to play Main adventure's Chapter One"), but heared Chapter Two (which'll obviously be another self-contained adventure) is on the way. You want to fight a giant chicken? Check. Want to craft a selected few super-strong artifacts? We have you covered. Or just want to go to the local spa, wink-wink? This game has that too. A thief who is ready to pull her shirt off and give to the poor, a fighter who is a coward, a mage with an empty spellbook, a holy person of questionable attitude, and the best fan-explanation of the most important RPG-tropes are ready to bring you to save the world from the dark diety Abaddon - and fight some goblins.

I don't need games, but this isn't even goodies

A single wallpaper with different resolutions is a thinly veiled attempt to cover this is just discount-cupons for a frenchise that's in self-destrucion mode anyway.

Nobody Saves the World Complete

Serviceable story, great and chiselled gameplay

The main mechanic is to unlock new forms. If you do it naturaly, not through grinding in the Impossible Dungeon or whatever, the playtime is easily doubled, so there is content here. And while you feel controller would work a bit better, keyboard-control is smooth (and customiseable if you need that). The "unlock forms and abilities" gimmick could easily be frustrating as it inevitable leads to forcing on you weak and pathetic forms, but it never really gets to the point of real frustration, and even the truly lame forms will get redemption at certain (DLC) challenges. Yeah, those DLC-challenges are a great additions. The humour is good, the graphic is great, the references are nice, the exploration is rewarding. Oh, and there's the usic too. This game is worthy, and won't lock you in unwinnable situations PS: i'm not a great player, with peak reflexes and stuff - you could say I am a Nobody. But with informations from other players I could develop my own strategies where I had to, and was able to complete every quests and challenges. Going back doing NG+ for platinum!

No key-customisation

Tried playing this with keyboard - if you are not lefthanded, it'll just kill your joints. I was considering this for a youngling for a long while, even without discount, now found a demoplay, and it's just uncomfortable to control, and there's no customization of keys.
