Cyberpunk 2077

Dishonest marketing & cut content galore

No amount of bug-fixing will ever change the fact that just about every interesting feature, including life paths and the storyline in general, was cut and butchered to the point were you headscratchingly ask yourself if this game is from the same developers that brought us The Witcher. - utterly shallow "RPG", with little choice or customization. - life paths are LINEAR 15 minutes bits, that are irrelevant to the story - brief montage tells you (15 minutes into the game) that you're supposed to care for characters and then skips over any and all character development - each & every core game mechanic is at best passable, but never better than run-of-the-mill competitors - storyline is all over the place, especially in regards to the pacing. everything's thrown at you rapid fire like, to the point where you'll find it hard to keep up and care for any of the characters - AI is broken, or more precisely non-existent. it's literally on par with the first open world type games on playstation 1 - the world feels devoid of life. NPCs adhere to no schedule, cops spawn 2ft behind you and never give chase, NPC traffic doesn't know how to maneuver around an obstacle. - V is not properly animated, you'll spot that within 5 minutes of playing the game due to messed up shadows and an absent reflection (while NPCs have them). The game is not even remotely as advertised by CDPR. It's not much of an RPG, it's a mediocre action game at best, and it's a terrible open world game. It's almost ironic, that CDPR went about releasing the game in such a shady manner, when they had spent the last 8 years talking down on, what the public perceived as scummy publishers. Well. I hope EA, Ubisoft & the likes welcome you to the fold regardless, CDPR. Enjoy.
