Modern conveniences and polish aside, I actually prefer this over skyrim. Why? because I never ever had the feeling of ultimate dread seeing dragons compared to when I saw the skies turn red on my way to Kvatch only to find the city fallen and an oblivion gate wide open and spewing all the daedras in to Cyrodiil. Heck this game is so good. The arena was fun, the dark brotherhood questline was great, there are some pretty dark stuff lurking in the corners of Cyrodiil. It also has one of the best expansion (yes a proper expansion!) that added a new playable area of the game, the Shivering Isles, which is the realm of Sheogorath. Definitely grab this game when you can and you wouldn't regret it.

If you want a solid KoF game, you are better off grabbing 98FE UM and 2002 UM. Those two packages are unfortunately not (yet?) on GOG but are some of the best KoF games with huge rosters, balanced characters, endless mode, online mode, and much more. Unfortunately once you get a hold of those two games, non-UM titles will never satisfy you anymore.
