These kind of games are usually a tad too deep for me but I’ve found this pretty user friendly. It’s still quite complex and the complexity grows rapidly, but starting my first playthrough with a tiny galaxy has really helped me learn the ropes step by step. Now I can’t keep myself away from it, being in lockdown kinda helps with the time I’m spending on it though. It’s great being able to pause progress and fine tune your empire moving forward. Only downside is the combat is weak IMO, apart from optionally designing your ships you just click on what to attack and they do it autonomously. At least this means you can focus on other things. Now I’ve purchased most of the DLC to expand the replay value even more.
