The original game that set the standard for 4X games. Total unit customization and functionality are available. Want a submarine stealth aircraft carrier? You can build it in this game. The AI is decent but will backstab you for the slightest advantage. You can't go wrong with this title if you enjoy Civ-style 4X games.
Game has graphical errors, like the menu
This was the the last gasp of the moo ip, (yea they made the new one, light weight trash) I should of known this was bad when it went gold before release. Worst memory of a game disapointment, I remember never building any fleets being at war with every one and nothing happened for over 100 turns. This is a game that consists of pressing 'next turn' No other action you make changes the game.
