I really don't know whats so hard for people to understand. It is the same game, but better. Its not a newly developed AAA game, its not meant to be played at 8K with realistic graphics and certainly not expected to have the most cutting edge features. Its supposed to be a better-looking KoA with all the content and all the QoL we have asked for with the previous version... and thats exactly what it is. But i guess people not even owning the game can't just let people have fun can they ;D
This might just be a surge of nostalgia but i played this ALOT when i was around 10 years old. This was an amazing addiction at the time and i still love everything about it. The lootwhoring, the MASSIVE amount of quests, the dreamworld switching and the attunements/skills that make you create 6 characters to test out everything. The combat isnt amazingly innovative, the graphics arent great .. but the feel and storyline of the game are really nice. Loved this inmy youth and still do 10 years later. Also i would recommend checking out Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms on Steam Early Acces. Its the same developerteam, the same kind of game with the same style and also focussing on dreamworld swithcing (or demonswitching in this case) but using a graphics-engine and features fitting any AAA game released nowadays
