Replaying this for the firs time since it came out and it does not disappoint. Hands down one of the creepiest and best atmospheric games ever made. And so many great detail like the voice mails. The game still looks good, the enmies are tough and there are some genuine jump scares. Well worth picking up - I plan to go though all the FEAR games again.
Although Doom or Quake were probably my first real intro to the shooter genre, Unreal was the game that made me a lifelong fan. Everything about this game is well done. Great play, great look and great music. It remains one of my all time favorites and although its graphics are a bit dated by today's standards, the immersive feel of the the game, it sweeping landscapes and it's moddy atmosphere combined with some truly fearsome opponents make this an amazing.
