I bought this game based on the review and also because I'm a fan of the genre. Though the game is very beautiful it is also very confusing. The time control is a very cool and interesting feature. The feeling of having a schedule to be aware of is one of the things that attracted me. Though, it doesn't work very well when you don't know what are you suposed to do. At some point in the game before arriving at Vienna, you need to complete a series of actions that in my opinion, makes the player feel overwhelmed by the complexity of it: you need the right items, you need the right timing and you need to have a keen eye to find some items that, in my case, was just beyond my suspicions. ========== GAME HINT AHEAD =========== But the worst part of it is that you don't have a clue of what to do. Just a tip, it might be a light spoiler though, to any player who might read this: (((Do not give the golden egg to Chronos to get the gold))). Although the game basically makes you think you should give the freaking egg to him to get the gold/money and finish a certain transaction. ========== END OF GAME HINT ALERT! =========== But the thing worth mentioning here, is that if you don't do the things the right way or if you're not in the right place at the right time, it's game over, and you need to accomplish a lot of actions you have already done before, again. I had to yield at some point after trying so many times to no avail. I ended up following a walkthrough to be able to pass that part in the game, which for me, is the worst thing that can happen, I really hate having to use this kind of resource to get through the game, it breaks all immersion. So, go ahead and buy it, it's a well crafted game, but gameplay wise I can't praise this game, because it lack in consistency in some points which makes the game feel tedious, boring and making you frustrated in the process.
