Muddled themes, simplistic gameplay, bad writing, quite buggy. Now this is obviously a childrens game, and the simplistic gameplay and puzzles are thus appropriate. However its usage of outdated gameplay tropes make it feel like it came out in the early 2000's. The dialogue, particularly at the beginning of the game, consists entirely of exposition dumps. The game does attempt however to touch upon some complex themes that are brought about by its setting in a fantasy kingdom, which was good. But the conflict between our character and the main antagonist is resolved immediately with one line of dialogue spoken by a character who only appears in the last 5m of the game. On top of that, it undermines its inclusion of its more complicated themes by having the main conflict of the world be resolved by simply having the "right" person inherit the power. Honestly there's a decent game in here, aspects of its mythical world are genuinely intriguing and could have been aweinspring, its just needed a better writer to follow through.
