I have never played such a horrible game. It's clunky, has moon logic puzzles and you need to eject a CD drive IN REAL LIFE OR YOU WILL BE STUCK IN THE END! If you really wan't to know the story and have some insane mental strenght buy it. You will regret it as you never get that wasted time back. I have no idea how they managed to fumble that game so hard.
It's like I am playing a fever dream. I played through 1-3 and had a good time. Even the third one I liked. It's in 3D but animations in cutscenes are very nicely done and has a very nice charm to it. BUT THIS ONE Holy moly. The controls are really bad, riddles are completely out of this world. I NEVER EVER had to look up so many of the solutions to the ones I encountered. And I played Sam & Max, I understand what convoluted nonsense is. That's how Civvie would say it. DO.NOT.BUY.THIS.GAME
...and that is Lost Horizon 2. It is the worst out of the bunch. Extremely short and just had not put in the same love like for the other titles. Lost Horizon 1 is amazing though. The chemistry of the two protagonists is amazing and many funny moment. Secret Files 1-3 is another really nice adventure. It's just a really good thought trough universe that builds a really good story. Really liked the lore of this one. Sams story on it's own is good too but short which is fine as it's more of a sidekick character. If you liked Siberia or The Longest Journey(PLAY BOTH AMAZING!!!) then you will like this. But don't waste your time on LH2. It's bad, really bad.
I played for like 3h and can't bring myself to play further. The game is a mess. Sound glitches and the controls. Oh the controls are so bad with the horrible camera they make a perfect couple. I played 1 and 2 and LOVED them. This. No. Don't. And do not listen to others that say it ain't THAT bad. Do not listen! I did and now look at me!
