This game is so ambitious. And very immersive. What a completely unique and original experience. They planned a trilogy and I doubt even a sequel gets made at this point. It's unfortunate. This game has excellent mechanics, a very steep learning curve and is so original.
This is honestly one of the best games ever made. I have it up there with Disco Elysium and Clair Obscure. It has aged incredibly well and it still holds up, unlike a game such as Fallout New Vegas. This game has layers to it that a lot of modern games lack. The nuances, the philosophical questions it asks, the morals and ethical context... There's so much going on here and in this case, I think the Star Wars IP might actually hold this game back a little. But I still think it's the best Star Wars story ever told, and one of the best stories ever written.
