Not the best game but good anyway

I think dungeon master & chaos strikes back are greater, but this is a good old game anyway, and it won't take too much of your time (a few days though :) ) there is a lot of build choice, and there is a slow motion "turn by turn" system to make combat ok for noobs like me And the story is interesting too

Addictive but missing something

-it could be like desktop dungeon, but is even more random, too much -it will take too much time to unlock permanent upgrades, which are too expensive -to get gold, you must get lucky, meaning, get +luck equipment at the beginning, in order to get even more +luck item and even more usefull legendary. Otherwise, you'll be dead soon. There is really no tactics at all, except following ballista direction, compared to desktop dungeon (which is good but too hard anyway lol) so finally, it's a random clicking game, you got a +luck item, it will be a good run, otherwise it will be a useless one, which is most of the time Oh, but it's addictive. But, well, it's missing something. it's more 2.5/5 And and really.. THERE IS NO DOCUMENTATION AT ALL, and there is a wiki, apparently made by user, incomplete, not updated, and not that much usefull. and UI is bad. It would be better if less time consuming, with better odds. Feels like losing my time

Rain World

are you kidding me ? karma system...

ok, thje game could be great, but, it looks great, i don't care much about the controls who are often reviewed as bad. BUT -There is a karma ladder (of about 6-8 rank i think) which will unlock some gates. -you gain 1 karma after eating enough food, by hibernating. -after hibernation, game is saved, used food is saved and gone. -you loose 1 karma after each death (which is already bad, please grind) -if you "exit" your game at another time than the prompt after hibernation, -1 karma. => only time you can really save your progresss is after hibernation, all other exit are counted as a death. => but you wanted to exit to eat in middle game ? -1 karma, game was saved previously, food is gone (mostly), even harder grind. => alt F4 wont save you, alt F4 counted as death. => save game location is fully hidden, you cannot even save scum to prevent this -very very very bad design- So that's all, unless you want to grind and loose your time, this game is bad, although it could be good without the karma system. Which is why, until devs gives us an easy mode, 0/20, unplayable

ok game but overhyped

a short but ok game with some puzzles although not at full price. - you need to look for some clues outside of talking to the AI (i took me a long time to realize that) (short is not bad when you have a big backlog :) ) problem is, i think the text parser doesn't understand a thing of what you can say. like said, it looks like the ai answers are mostly scripted. It was so infuriating, i would have like to destroy this AI, didn't care about dying too :) Hope there will be a game like this, but with a real text parser and a real AI behind. I'm disappointed by that mainly, after all the hype and talk. And i would have liked more interaction, like using a crowbar against the AI terminals.

Grim Dawn

Good successor of diablo 2

I really enjoy the game, including the expansions malmouth & forgotten gods & crucible. It's a lot more interesting and funny than Diablo 3 for me, although i cannot really explain. May be because D3 is only about the stuff, and not really the skills, for me. It's really enjoyable solo too, which is important, and it seems that there is no real "end game", which is good enough for me because i'm casual and my time is limited. No infinite grind, play a complete 3 difficulty mode then reroll a new char to discover new fun is good for me. Graphics are good too, less cartony than D3 and thus more enjoyable. really recommanded hack and slash.
