Baldur's Gate: Faces of Good and Evil

Beamdog, master of cashgrab

Seriously? 2bucks is nothing, but 6 portraits for a game where you have one main and other NPCs have their own portraits is more than nothing. It's already annoying that you have to buy all the versions in all platforms (with added content in PC versions separately purchased in mobile on top of that), and now they are charging for 6 portraits? Beamdog is proving to be a real joke.

There is so much said, and to be said about this game that no words are enough. Play it. Love it.

Freespace 2

One of the best games ever

Ah, Freespace 2. I can talk hours about this series. First of all, I'd highly recommend Freespace 1. The gameplay is pretty much the same except Freespace 2 does everything better and more. But the story will make much more sense if you start from Freespace 1 and believe me, this is not just a simulation. This game has a lot of character to it and caring about the story will make it much better. You will feel proud of your achievements as you move up the ranks in the Terran fleet, flying in various squadrons. One part of the game you'll fly a bomber, carrying heavy armaments that can take down capital ships, defending itself with heavy armor and auto turrets. Other times you'll be an interceptor, incredibly fast attacker that targets the bombs themselves, almost in a suicidal dive. There will also be occasions where you'll be included in projects with Vasudan, the alien species, but I'd like to avoid spoilers. You will care about the stations and main ships. You will gather badges. Your success on missions will unlock weapons faster and sometimes, exclusively. And at least at some point, if you are me, you will shed tears. Freespace series. More than a simulator.

RollerCoaster Tycoon® Deluxe

Best of its kind to this day

Back in the old days, when Tycoon was a main genre, RTC was among the most fun and most engaging ones. Today in 2017, this hasn't changed. RTC offers an incredible amount of customization and a lot of control over your park from the size of coaster trains to the color of it, to the color of pavement in your park to marketing campaigns of your park or rides. Rules of the game are dynamic, realistic and require adaptation from playing with prices of umberallas depending on rain to the importance of vendor placement to rides becoming old and unwanted, requiring a price drop. Game's graphics are surely dated but the style, in my opinion, makes it pretty timeless. All in all, RTC is definitely worth the money if you like such games!

Warlords Battlecry 3

Underrated series, underrated game!

Warlords Battlecry series is among the worst underrated series of all times! Combining RTS and RPG with its own setting, each WB is a unique experience. In this game you will find several races, each with its own style and units (even the elf subtypes, who has similar units, play very differently) including: The Barbarians, who mainly has few units but produce them en masse, The Demons, who has powerful but expensive units, who can utilize fallen enemies' souls to summon more of their kind into battle The Undead, who can produce basically a single unit but upgrades that unit into some of the most powerful units The Dark Dwarves, who rely on siege machines and golems, The Knights, who rely on cavalry and command powerful units such as variety of dragons or each race's Titan! ...and you will have the option to shape your hero into whatever you want: A power house warrior who does not relent, even at the sight of a mighty dragon or titan, A charismatic merchant who spends less to command larger and more powerful armies that fight stronger, A fearsome assassin, whose poisonous attacks can kill at a single deadly strike A powerful mage, with spells that decimate armies and change the tide of battle. ...you will also gain items that provide various bonuses, including set items, ...conquer land and gain artifacts that supply a variety of features All of this, through a series of adventures that shape the world! Not to mention the awesome voice overs! If you like RTS and fantasy settings, stop reading and buy the game, you won't regret it!
