the music is incredible. the satire is cutting. the dialogue options are interesting. the interface is well-designed. the depictions of the mechanics of the american political process are correct. the tone perfectly negotiates the space between absurdly hilarious and darkly horrific. the team behind this title got everything exactly right. this is a piece of media that gracefully and effectively makes the case for video games as art. a lot of games these days are for children or morons. so i guess if you're a childish moron, this isn't for you. that's fine, "call of duty: worship the military and shoot the generic people who don't look like you" isn't going anywhere. for the rest of us: VOTE. VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN AND OFFER TO GIVE YOUR NEIGHBORS RIDES TO THE POLLING PLACE. also play this game. it's so great.
