Milo and the Magpies

short, sweet and pretty

The algorithm randomly recommended this game to me for less than £2 so I purchased it on a whim. the actual game play is very basic point and click stuff with some simple puzzles but that's not really the point of the experience. This is an art game with a simple story uncovered screen-to-screen through interactions with the world, broadly about a cat trying to get home but interwoven with snippets of the lives of people living in a leafy suburban Street. the art style seemed familiar to me so I looked up the game's creator/artist and it turns out he also worked on the rusty lake series on android. cool! it only took me an hour to complete but I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this game. and for less than the price of a coffee its an absolute bargain!
