The main story of the game is pretty good. There isn't much in the story that's great besides some of the set pieces. The side characters and their quests range in quality, but are mostly fine. The bugs have been patched, and loads of content has been added. Now, we're left with what is an above average game with a really great setting. Night City is cool to walk around, it's fun to look at the skylines from different angles, it's really a cool world to explore -- but it's grating to listen to. I really hope that in the next game, the devs will save the extra cash they dropped to get famous actors in the game, and instead hire a bunch more artists and voice actors to make like ten times the ads to put in the game. I've heard the same ads so many times, they just blair them all over the city, and that's great for the vibe and the setting on paper, but it's not great for actually playing the game over the course of years.

It's a fun little twin-stick shooter. I like the art. The levels are good. The sound design is very cool. Unfortunaly there are some issues, but overall I like the game. When the sound is good it's really good, but since the soundtrack is tied to the weapons you've unlocked and have equipped, the soundtrack at the start of the game is very bare-bones and a little grating at times. There's also some voice lines like the "Kosmo Happy" line, which sounds a little loud and grating, and is unfortunately a very common line in the game. The game seems to play at way too high of a FPS when in full screen for me, and that makes navigating the menus and moving really fast, so I have to play in windowed mode to make the game feel right. I'm not sure if that's due to some GPU setting on my system, or if it's an issue with the game. The gameplay is fun, but I wish there was an option for like an aim line to be drawn out from your gun, so it's more clear where you're shooting and where you are. Some times it's hard to keep track of what's going on and where you're firing. There is a crosshair, but it's very close to your character (when using a controller) and so you need to look at the enemy to make sure your shots are hitting. Also, the bullets are come out of the gun, so they're kind of offset and a little harder to aim especially when enemies are up close. Also, depending on your loadout, there are extra assistants orbiting you and shooting bullets that kind of look like yours -- it's hard to explain, but it's just difficult to keep track of what's going on sometimes, and it would be easier if there was a line or something that made it easier to keep track of everything.
