Phenomenal game, highly recommended! 10/10
This is not an easy game. You have to always prepare for the worst and hope for the best. However the game is great and the voice of Wayne June is just perfect (could listen to it for days).
I remember spending hours on this game when I was a kid and enjoying every minute of it. I just had to buy it once I saw it here. Firing it up brought memories and I spent a few hours on it in one sitting. Truly a gem of a game.
I'll be honest with you, I didn't like the game when I first tried it. For some reason, it seemed similar to Ori and the Blind Forest (which I didn't enjoy much), so I postponed playing it. However, once I gave it another try, I was hooked. The game is nothing like Ori, as I originally thought, it is far far better. It definitely has a learning curve, and you will need to put your time into it to learn the mechanics, but once you do, it starts to feel just right. Not to mention that the game itself is beautiful, and the music is superb. For some reason I couldn't get my controller working so I played with keyboard (not the best experience, I do recommend controller), so it was a bit more difficult than it should've been. Overall, I enjoyed the game quite a bit, some bosses were more infuriating than others, but if you keep at it, you'll eventually beat them. I highly recommend this game!
Absolutely stunning game. The way the story was portrayed without a single word and only through colors and music was fantastic. More games like these please!
