This game is fairly easy very simplistic, which is fine if you don't go into it with high expectations. You will be going through linear levels using the same tactics on almost all of the enemies. You can complete this game in under 2.5 hours in one sit-through. It has one difficulty setting and no achievements, so replay value is low. On one of the levels there is an issue with the floor texture where I fell through it every time in the same spot, which forces you to restart the level. The game tries to add value by collecting coins which can be used to purchase health and some upgrades. However, if you have any measurable time playing video games, you will not need to purchase a thing. If you are good with game mechanics, you might even be able to complete the game without using health potions. I was able to beat the final boss without taking any damage on my first try. So, a missed opportunity there to add some extra value. I feel like this game would be great for beginners -- either your kids who are getting of age to be introduced to something slightly more advanced than what they are used to, or a friend who is just getting into gaming. Again, if you don't go in with high expectations, you should enjoy the game for what it is -- especially at it's current price point.
