There are some undeniable improvements (graphics, audio...), but doesn't worth the premium over the older version IMO. I expected gameplay improvements, especially about the annoying random path thing, which in 2023 shouldn't be difficult to replace with better mechanics. Instead, the game gives you a pair off red/green cells to show you where walkers enter / exit the buildings. Looks like a big "lol, fu" that turns the "forced walker" exploit of Caesar-like games into an explicit gameplay element...
