If you enjoyed the first title in the Sniper Elite series, it will be hard not to like V2 as well. There was something weirdly beautiful about the artwork in the first title that is sort of lost in V2, but the much more advanced graphics compensate for that. It’s important to note that the extra missions that used to be sold separately from the original (non-remastered) Sniper Elite V2 are included in this remastered version, under Challenges in the main menu.
Overall, a very fun game to play, with excellent graphics and artwork, especially considering how old the game is. I just think there should be an extra AI level between Medium and Hard, as enemies go from being occasionally a bit dumb to being super-human... The plot feels quite linear, besides the possibility of taking different routes to the objectives, but I suspect that I just didn’t explore enough. For example, the Tempelhof mission felt nearly impossible to complete, with three waves of attackers on the plane, until I found that I could get rid of many of the attackers in advance by raising the alarm before even assaulting the control tower. So, things were much less linear than they seemed!
