These are the first PC games that got me hooked. I was 11 when starflight 1 came out and it was an instant addiction. Explore all the planets, find the ones that are colonizable, go mining and capture ETs, establish trade routes with alien races, omfg so amazing. I can't rant enough about this game. Part of me wishes for a modern rehash and another part dreads it.
