This is amazing, wel, it's good anyway..

And if it asks me one more time to sign in for a better experience, I'm going to punch it through thet wall.

Well, the main menu music is good

The game loads, I press A on the controller, and it takes me to the main menu. After which no control on the controller or keyboard does anything. A hint or clue would be welcome, but there appear to be no support forums or other users. Pity, the music is kind of awesome, and the art is intriguing. Sad.

75% off? Get it now!

If you like roguelikes and you like FPSs it's great. You kind of need to like both things equally, though. If you want a modern shoot-em-up there's a new Doom game, I hear. On the other hand, if you love rogue-like progression but aren't very good at dodging, precision aiming, and running backwards, it could be a pretty difficult game. It has a progression vibe entirely like Binding of Isaac, which is to say you unlock new things in the dungeon and new characters, but when you die you're back to square one. The shooting, as I said, requires aiming. I turned off motion blur and adjusted my mouse resolution a bit and it's a decent shooter, but it'll never be completely easy, no matter what cards you pick up when you level. If you've played Immortal Redneck, the shooting is harder but I think the lore is a little more interesting and starting over from 0 makes it a different sort of challenge. Also, in this game there's lore. :) It's not super deep but it gives it some flavor. I recommend it, even at full price. At the current price of $3.75 I double recommend it.

Brilliant voice acting and direction

I haven't laughed this much playing an adventure game since Sam and Max lost their groove (I can't remember whether I left them in the tombs or just thereafter). This is as much due to the delivery as to the writing; there is excellent voice acting, direction, and editing throughout. Sometimes you can see the dark reality of our world reflected in the game, but hey, it's a POST-apocalyptic world, right? Of course, the whole game is funnier if you've put off working on a personal project to play video games for weeks or years. At least, this is true for me. YMMV; in fact you'll probably not find the game funny at all if this applies to you and you're in denial about it. :D The puzzles require you to pay attention and think, but aren't so hard that I ever needed a walkthrough (although one is built into the game if it comes to that). Sometimes the solution seemed obvious, but then I realize I've spent an hour exploring every corner of the room--of course I know the answer, right? Honestly, 99% of "wicked hard" adventure game difficulty is either because the thing you need to click on was hidden or the clues deliberately led you away from the right answer. If you finished it in less than 10 hours, you clearly didn't spend time poking into the corners. Paradigm's sadness hits a little close to home, and I was inspired to help him succeed. The music is excellent from beginning to end. I'm going to go check the developer commentary now. Buy the game already.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden

Well... the tutorial is about to start... and...

The game popped up a message prompting me to rate the game, in what I am assuming is the tutorial window. As I haven't actually done anything else but watch the intro movie at this point, I have to assume this is one of those "Pony Island" fourth-wall breaking metaplots where I think I am on GOG but really am still playing the game. And, well, I'm pretty hardcore, so I'm going to enter a review and do it right. I'm just assuming I will have an opportunity later in the game to return here and raise/lower the score based on my experiences. God, I really hope this is an in-game experience and not actually GOG.com. That would be so embarrassing.
