When the game was released, the graphics were some of the best, it still looks great. It runs great even on new hardware. The game perfectly catches the spirit of the Blade Runner film. It is extremly atmospheric, some cinematics are the same like in the movie. By using different dialogs you can change the story. +Very interesting story and characters +falsly calibrating the Voight-Kampft Test to get people in jail or worse +different locations, apartment, crime scene +Hide information from the police department +20+ endings, hidden secrets, analyze pictures, people can become ally or foe -some underground levels can be difficult or annoying
This game is a legend. It is a masterpiece, was made by the best RPG studio in the world. I talk about the Bioware before EA bought it. I talk about the creators of Baldur Gate, Neverwinter Night, Mass Effect, Jade Empire. Of course the graphics is outdated, but i prefer content over graphics. However it still looks good. I really encourage to try this wonderful game. You will be pleased with great story, unique npc's, great dialogues, amazing quests, rich world, a true Star Wars feeling where one is tempted to use the dark force. There are different outcomes and endings, it all depends from you. This is how a Star Wars game should be and not a silly shooter.
In 25 years of my pc gaming history there are only few games(most from Bioware before EA) that came close to MOO2! It is a Masterpiece which no newer 4x game has every surpassed. (I've played many, many games) You have not really played a 4x game without tried MOO2. The diplomacy system alone could teach all other (4x) games which came later some lessons. Neither Civilisation series or Galactic Civ could achieve the same depth. Master of Orion 2 although in todays standards a rather simple game it has so much atmosphere, so much details, everything is incredible well tought and designed. I've played 2500h on MOO2.
