"Recently" because, well, I bought it in 2016 and since 2015 I don't play anything as enjoyable as The Witcher 3. It fixes everything that went wrong with the first two. The witcher I - Amazing story, clunky gameplay, weird stuff happening on screen, but fun overwall if you force yourself to learn how to master the gameplay. I wish there was an official remake of The Witcher on The Witcher 3 Engine. Played it so I could play The Witcher 2 knowing what it's about. The Witcher II - Not as good as the first when we speak about story, but also great. Better gameplay, but a little hard to master (Easy mode = too easy / Normal mode = too hard) and weird movement, but still way better than the first. Amazing graphics for the time. Still worth playing. And, finaly, The Witcher 3: A story as good as the first one, with better gameplay, better graphics, great soundtrack, well made, and it still feels like a "The Witcher series" game. Some bugs here and there, but still one of the greatest electronic RPGs of all time. I don't like to say it's the best because the perception can change with time, but It surely is the most well made one.
